The Anna Police Department is a full service municipal police department providing the citizens of Anna, Texas with police protection 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. It is our hope that these web pages provide you with useful information.

About the Director
Chief of Police/Deputy City Manager Kenneth Jenks is a native Texan and has been with the City of Anna since January, 2005.
Chief Jenks began his law enforcement career in Killeen, Texas in 1981, retiring from full time duty in 2002. A certified Texas teacher in Trades and Industrial Career Preparation, the Chief took a high school teaching job with Killeen ISD’s Career and Technology Education Dept and was assigned to Shoemaker High School as a Criminal Justice teacher and wrestling coach. At the same time, Chief Jenks was also an adjunct faculty member at Central Texas College. At the beginning of 2005, Chief Jenks came to Anna and started the City’s Police Department.
Chief Jenks is a Texas Master Peace Officer, a certified Instructor, and is the Co-Author of the book "Case Studies on Safety, Bullying, and Social Media in Schools...Current Issues in Educational Leadership"--(2015 Taylor and Francis). He is married to a Texas Woman’s University Professor and they have four children.
