Our trail adoption progam was so popular that the City has changed the program to allow for more areas of the city to be included.  So welcome our new Adopt-a-Spot program!  This program is similar to the adopt-a-highway program sponsored by the Texas Department of Transportation. The park trails, roadways, and other public rights-of-way are now adoptable. Members of the adopting organizations will maintain their spot by keeping it clear of trash and brush. Groups are welcome to fundraise or donate items to spruce up their spot as well. In return for adopting and maintaining a spot the City will place a sign or marker recognizing the adopting group.

Our master parks plan anticipates the construction of over 50 miles of trail so this is the time to get involved. Help keep our trails and roads tidy, trim, and trash free.
