Downtown Development Plan

2019 REQUEST FOR STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS

The City of Anna is seeking Statements of Qualifications, (“SOQ”), from qualified consulting teams to provide professional services to the City to develop a new Comprehensive Plan, a Downtown Master Plan, and a Parks, Trail, and Open Space Master Plan. 2015 Downtown Development Plan Draft

On May 14, 2015 the City of Anna conducted a public meeting to present the draft of the Anna Downtown Development Plan, and to receive public comment. This Plan has been developed over the past year with input from representatives from downtown property owners, builders, members of the Anna Economic and Community Development Corporations, the Planning and Zoning, and the City Council. The study area is bounded on the north by Hackberry Lane, on the South by White Street (F.M. 455), on the west by Slayter Creek, and on the East by Easton Street or an Extension of Easton. The Plan will serve as a general guide to future development activity within study area. The Plan will be forwarded to the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council for consideration and adoption.
