Economic Development

The Anna Community Development Corporation (CDC) works to expand the city's business tax base with a focus on creating primary jobs within the City of Anna and attracting other commercial projects like hotels, medical, retail, restaurant, and entertainment venues. The CDC was instrumental in recruiting Brookshires Grocery Company, CVS pharmacy, McDonalds, and Walmart, and owns the Anna Business Park-- an 85 acre tract of land at the northeast corner of State Highway 5 and the Collin County Outer Loop.  With 65 square miles of planning area, a fast-growing population, and a pro-development mindset, Anna is primed for growth and invites you to come see what we offer.  We are ready to do business!
