[ARCHIVED] Update on West Well Site - 4pm

The City of Anna has recovered approximately 50% of the water production capacity at our west groundwater well site that broke down yesterday evening. We are lifting the outdoor watering ban; however, we ask that all water customers continue to be conservation minded while we work to recover the full water production capacity at our west well location. All Stage 3 water restrictions remain in effect. We hope to be able to complete all repairs at our west well site by late next week.
The City's west well site is down. The electrical panel to the well was damaged yesterday. We are replacing today. We won't know if there is damage to the motor or pump until the electrical panel is replaced. In the meantime, the ban on outdoor watering continues. Please be conservation minded. Thank you for your cooperation.
