NOTICE TO ALL ANNA WATER CUSTOMERS:
Outdoor watering will be prohibited from May 28th through June 3rd:
As part of the City’s North & West Well Surface Water Project, our contractor will need to tie a new water line in to the west well ground storage tank on County Road 370. This work will require us to shut down two groundwater wells at this location for a few days while the work takes place. We will be supplementing our water supply with treated surface water during this time, but in order to ensure adequate water supply and pressure in our system, we are asking our water customers to discontinue outdoor watering for a few days while two of our groundwater wells are off-line. The anticipated date to start the tie-in construction is May 28. All outdoor watering and irrigation is prohibited from May 28 through June 3.
The North & West Well Surface Water Project involves the extension of water lines that will carry treated surface water to the ground storage tanks located on Powell Parkway (SH5) and Country Road 370. The treated surface water will be blended with and supplement our existing groundwater resources during the summer months when water demand is at its peak
