[ARCHIVED] Public Works Week is May 21st through May 27th -

Public Works Week is May 21st through May 27th. Each year the American Public Works Association promotes awareness of the benefits provided by hard working Public Works employees. This year's theme is "Public Works Connects Us" and speaks to the vital role Public Works plays in connecting us all together. As the foundation that cities are built on, public works provides, maintains, and improves the structures and services that assure a high quality of life for our communities. Its streets, roads, bridges, and public transportation keep us linked together from coast to coast, and its clean water and sanitation services keep us healthy and allow our communities to grow and prosper.

In honor of our hardworking staff, our Public Works Department will host a public event at the Slayter Creek Park Pavilion on May 26th between 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM. In-N-Out Burger®, will be onsite and will provide burgers for free to the first 300 attendees. The splash pad and playground will be open!  Our Public Works Team is looking forward to the chance to meet you at this event!
