Traffic Alert Update - Due to weather, the total freeway closure for tonight, February 16th has been CANCELED. The total freeway closure has been moved to Saturday , February 17th at 9:00 am to Sunday , February 18th at 7:00 PM weather permitting.
The closure of FM-455 over US 75 bridge east and west, has been moved to Saturday, February 17th 9:00 am to 10:00 pm , also weather permitting.
Residents in the area - please use caution as you navigate in these areas. Pay attention to signage, be alert, and use an alternative route if possible.
Additional Details - Detour Directions:
Saturday: All traffic traveling on US 75 will be required to exit.
NB US 75 traffic at exit 48 and will be allowed to re-enter at on-ramp north of FM 455. All SB traffic will be required to exit US 75 at exit 48 and allowed to re-enter at on-ramp immediately south of FM 455.
FM 455 Overpass Bridge: From 9:00 AM Saturday to 10:00 PM Saturday, FM 455 will be closed to traffic east and west traveling over US 75.

TxDOT’s contractor Austin Bridge and Road will be performing demolition on the existing FM 455 Underpass bridge.

1) Message boards will be placed an US 75 to alert public of lane closures.
