911 Call Centers Back Up -

Attention: NCTCOG 9-1-1 Network is Back Up

From NCTCOG 9-1-1 Department: “The network is back up, however we will continue to monitor [it] before making the decision to return to normal operations. 9-1-1 calls are still being manually routed to the ten digit non-emergency number [for each impacted organization] .” The outage has been attributed to a network failure.

NCTCOG 9-1-1 will be hosting a press conference at 600 Six Flags Drive, Centerpoint III, Arlington, TX, 76011 at 5PM today. They will also host a Facebook Live of the press conference which can be viewed here:

Call centers in the NCTCOG 9-1-1 Area are experiencing a 9-1-1 outage. Citizens needing to call 9-1-1 are encouraged to call their local police department’s non-emergency number.
