The City of Anna is excited to partner with Polco, a national firm, to participate in the National Community Survey, a 21-year-old survey with roughly 140 community-related questions that will help the officials “better understand how the city's performance impacts the community.” Additionally, by using Polco, survey results will be compared to results from more than 400 other communities in more than 40 states.
The City of Anna is asking neighbors for their input on the Community Survey and hope to gauge satisfaction levels on a variety of topics. In September, the survey was sent to a random sampling of 3,200 households as selected through USPS lists. Those households received a letter in the mail asking them to complete the survey. On Wednesday, Oct. 26, the survey was opened to the general public to receive more comments.
To participate, residents should go to https://polco.us/anna22open. They can respond online or download the Polco app for Android or iOS. Once they have answered the questions, residents will be asked to provide their ZIP code to confirm where they live. This allows the City to be sure they are hearing from each person only once and to see which general area of the city respondents live in. Responses will remain anonymous, and personal information will be securely stored on Polco.
Neighbors can choose to provide an email address to Polco, which will allow the City to easily contact them with future questions. This service is free to all neighbors. Polco is committed to a strict privacy policy—they only share anonymous, combined results. Participants’ individual data and votes are never shared.
