Christmas

City facilities will be closed Friday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Dec. 26. 

If a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, trash and recycling collection routes will not be affected.

Christmas 2022 falls on Sunday, Dec. 25 so trash and recycling collection will not change. 


January 1, 2023 falls on Sunday. Routes will not change. 

  • Contact CARDS at 877-592-2737 for questions concerning the holiday collection schedule.
  • For water and sewer emergencies on a holiday or after 5 p.m.: 214-585-7725.
  • Police non-emergency: 972-924-2848.
