Fall Youth Soccer
Registration for Fall Youth Co-ed Soccer will open in Spring 2026.
The City of Anna offers Fall Youth Soccer for ages 3-12 years old. We do not offer spring soccer at this time.
Coaches needed
Soccer coaches are needed for every age group. Interested? Fill out the Coach registration. (This is a new portal for volunteer coaches; returning and new coaches will need to create an account to register.)

Important Dates
- Coaches Meeting: Early August (for registered coaches ONLY. This is not a "Meet the Coach" event).
- Coaches will reach out to their teams after their coaches meeting.
- Practices may start mid-August (practices are set by head coaches after the coaches' meeting).
- Games start early September.
- End-of-season tournament for 8U-12U only.
Game Days
All games are played at Slayter Creek Park multi-purpose fields on Saturdays. Game schedule will be released at the end of August, 2026.
Teams
All teams are co-ed. This is a city league, all games are Anna vs Anna teams.
Age Eligibility
- 4U: age 3 or 4 by Sept. 7
- 6U: Age 5 or 6 by Sept. 7
- 8U: Age 7 or 8 by Sept. 7
- 10U: Age 9 or 10 by Sept. 7
Players may play up, but not down a division.
Required Documents
The player's Birth Certificate must be uploaded into our secure database at the time of registration. Registration cannot be completed without this step. Most file types are accepted. (If you have previously sent in your birth certificate, it should be added to your CivicRec account).
Equipment
League provides:
- Team Jerseys
- Each Head Coach will receive an equipment bag with the necessary equipment
Parents provide:
- Shin guards. All players are required to wear shin guards at all practices and games. Shin guards must be covered entirely by socks.
- Rubber soccer cleats or turf shoes are recommended; however, tennis shoes may also be worn. No baseball cleats, football cleats or cleats with a toe cleat are permitted.
- Shorts or pants (no jeans) and soccer socks (color determined by the head coach).
- 4U and 6U will use a size three ball.
- 8U and 10U will use a size four ball.
Coaching Requirements
To be considered as a coach, the following are required:
- Register to be a Volunteer Coach.
- Acknowledgement of understanding of the coach's and player's code of conduct, league rules, and practice scheduling procedures.
- Completion of a Background check via the volunteer portal.
- Completion of SafeSport training (link will be sent after you have registered in the volunteer portal as a coach).
- Attend the mandatory coaches meeting
Notes: The assignment of a team, team color and name, and priority of the scheduling of practices will be given based on a timestamp of the completion of the aforementioned processes (with the exclusion of the coaches’ meeting).
Additionally, confirmation with a head coach of their assistant coach will take place prior to assigning an assistant coach to a team.
