Sergeant Rush Smith supervises the criminal investigation division.
The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) plays a crucial role within the Anna Police Department, focusing on the investigations of criminal activities, gathering evidence, and preparing case files for court. CID is also responsible for maintaining evidence and property in the property room. CID includes an investigator assigned to the Collin County Child Crimes Rural Task Force and a narcotic investigator to investigate crimes against children.
