Board of Adjustment

Responsibilities

The Board of Adjustment is a quasi-judicial board that serves as an appeal body for individuals seeking variances to the Zoning Ordinance and to persons who wish to appeal a decision made by an administrative official enforcing the Zoning Ordinance. The Board of Adjustment also serves as the Buildings and Standards Commission. 

Meetings

The board schedules meetings at 6 p.m. quarterly and as needed. The meetings of the BOA are generally held at the Municipal Complex - Council Chamber, 120 W. 7th Street, Anna, Texas.

Board Members 

Membership consists of seven regular members and one alternates appointed by the Council who serve for two-year staggered terms.
