Planning & Zoning Commission

Responsibilities

The Planning & Zoning Commission is responsible for reviewing new commercial and residential developments within the City. The Commission is the approval body for subdivision plats and site plans. It reviews and makes recommendations to the City Council on Zoning Ordinance amendments, specific use permits, and rezoning requests. The Planning & Zoning Commission also serves as the Tree Board and Impact Fee Advisory Committee.  

Meetings 

Unless otherwise posted, the Commission meets at 6 p.m. on the first Monday of each month at the Municipal Complex - Council Chambers, 120 W. 7th Street, Anna, Texas.

Commission Members

The Commission consists of seven members appointed by the City Council who serve for two-year staggered terms.
