The Engagement and Inclusion Advisory Commission is a seven-member Commission that may provide recommendations as requested from time to time by the City Council in matters relating to encouraging inclusion and participation of community groups with City government.
The mission of the City of Anna Engagement and Inclusion Advisory Commission is to assist the City Council in its efforts to engage with and support its community; facilitation of community dialog, representation of diverse neighbor voices, review of policies and services as they pertain to supporting all members of the community, and creation of events and programming within the City that purposefully engages with all neighbors.
City Council schedules meetings at 6 p.m. as needed. The meetings of the Engagement and Inclusion Advisory Commission are generally held at the Municipal Complex - Council Chamber, 120 W. 7th Street, Anna, Texas..
The Commission consists of seven members appointed by the City Council to serve for two-year staggered terms.
